    Good game but a bit frustrating…., September 7, 2003

A great game overall for every scooby-doo fan.

The game is fun at first but then gets frustrating in some levels where you have to jump on platforms without falling into the water. When you do so, you need to start over at the beginning of the level….

Otherwise, the graphics are superb, the sound effects are great, and there are a lot of funny moments in the game.

My kids (ages 4, 3) absolutely love this game. They can’t actually PLAY it, but they love watching Dad play. The kids will move around through the easy parts chomping up Scooby Snacks and hand the controller over when the monsters show up. Our household has spent many hours on this game and we’re only about halfway through. Some of the levels get pretty difficult, especially hard for me has involved jumping back and forth from moving conveyor belts. But with persistence, we have been able to get through everything. Game save points are located at the beginning of each level, but the levels vary from 2 to 4 parts so at times you can get stuck having to complete a tough series of screens over and over before you can save progress. This can get frustrating, but its also challenging enough to keep an adult’s interest up. There is also plenty of humor sprinkled throughout the game. I recommend this game if you’re looking for something to play alongside young kids that won’t get boring for you or them. There’s not too many like that out there on the X-Box.
