This game could have been great. The developers fixed some of the issues I had with Unleashed. First, some of the ridiculously difficult and hard to figure out missions are gone. Unfortunately along with those goes the open world, many moves including dragging victims across the top of the water and my favorite thing of all is gone….the ability to go “stealth” swimming along the top of the water and hiding your fin. WTF. Some of the moves are unresponsive and sometimes just biting another marine animals is frustrating. The visible distance you can see underwater is terrible, when did the ocean become a murky swamp? The game is set up like an arcade game that has you completeing levels that are too short and similar to eachother and the story is told through text screens during loading. The thing that bothers me the most is I completed the game in only 3 hrs and 10 min. Now to be fair, I didn’t complete all of the challenges, but to be honest they aren’t very interesting and 90 something percent of them are locked. How do I unlock them? Ugh, I don’t really care. If you can get this game for $10 or so I say go for it. If you like being a huge killer shark and ****ing stuff up you should find fun here. I think the 3d is done pretty well and ,unlike Unleashed, they actually use the Jaws theme in this game. I love Jaws so I had fun while it lasted and will probably still play it now and again. I’m just a bit disappointed at the missed opportunity to make a really sweet game. I didn’t expect much and I’m sure the developer didn’t think anybody would even play this. If they keep making them this way ,without loving the source material, even fans will quit purchasing these games. My vote goes to have Rocksteady Studios (BATMAN Arkham Asylum/City) make the next Jaws game…that would be epic. THE END lol.

The game is somewhat fun to play. it really has not a strong story, but it’s better than the first Nintendo version. The 3D is OK, I expected more. Recommended just if you are a Jaws fan, so you can add it to the titles you’ve played of the franchise.

My 4 year old son loves it cause of the shark. He hasn’t gotten far on it yet but I recommend it. I haven’t seen any violence or blood when people get eaten.
